THE BLACK CAT PART ONE

the black cat

TH BLACK CAT.

Slowly silently the cat
Creeps through the window into the room,
She pauses, she looks left to right. checking
quietly checking whose in sight,
To the dishes she does go,
Licking tit bits on the floor
With gleaming eyes and fur Jet black
Now she moves to the dishes rack
Searches here and searches there.
Moving quietly every where.
Licking cups and saucers too'
Enjoying all the left overs too,
Then suddenly with a swish from her tail
The dishes fall to the ground,
With a great big crashing sound.
In a flash she jumps out of the window into the dark,
And the dogs all begin to bark
The adventure for the night is over,
she will be back tomorrow for some more.

PART TWO THE BLACK CAT

BLACK CAT PART 2 STORY IN POEM FORM

The Black Cat part two

The black cat she came no more.
we were never so happy before
For now we slept peacefully
through the night
And did not worry about
getting up with a fright,

The days went by and often we would chat.
And wonder what had happened to that black cat.
Did she meet some untimely fate
what ever happened. we did not know at any rate.

We heaved many a sigh of relief
The black cat gone forever
was our belief.
Nights went by with out a care
and broken sleep was very rare.

It happened many weeks later'
we returned ,late from the theatre.
I was deep in sleep, when the familiar sound,
Of dishes crashing to the ground
Woke me up with a terrible fright
my hand quickly reaching for the light.

There she stood on the dining table
As proud as any mother can be labled.
For right behind her stood two tiny cats,
Cute and cuddly and a little fat.

A replica of their mother,
and at the double trouble i did shudder
the mystery of the quiet nights
stood before my very sight
then and then I thought of a plan
how to stand up to this new clan
A a bowl full of milk I did place
Each night, near the fire place
She and her brood would have their fill
And slip into the dark night quiet and still.
No more dishes crashing to the ground
No more ghastly midnight sounds
Every thing was quiet as before
Now my tale of the black cat is o'er

GITANJALI

A POEM WRITTEN BY CLUELESSNAN
ON GITANJALI'S BIRTHDAY
To day you are 18 years old,
You reached a milestone in your life,
Where now begins the cares and strife,
I held your hand through childhood,
And taught you what was right and good,
But now the time has come so fast,
On you feet alone at last,
The choices have to be made by you,
and recognise all the wrong ones to.
Mistakes I did make were plenty,
The road I chose was long andlengthy
Mariage,is not a game, neither is just a new name.
Responsibilities are plenty.
Sharing caring giving in,
Not regreting what should have been.
Jealousy should be out ruled,
It only lives in th heart of fools,
My advice to you can go on and on,
But, now its time for you to sing
your own song.
Remember its the singer not the song
That sings the notes right or wrong

Remember gitu and bear in mind,
a faithful friend is hard to find,
and if you find one good and true,
never change the old one for the new

LOOK AT THE MONUMENTS SO COLD AND SO STILL
MADE BY PEOPLE WITH OUT MUCH SKILL,
BUT HERE THEY STAND TO THE TEST OF TIME ,
THE STONES SINGING A SONG WITH REALLY NO RHYME

FOR THE STORY BEHIND THESE BEAUTIFUL STONE
LIES A LOT OF TRADGEDY, THAT NO ONE REALLY KNOWS.
FOR A QUEEN TO BE PUT TO REST
A MARBLE MARVEL A KING DID ERECT,

THE MINAR THE MAHAL, AND THE TEMPLES YOU SEE
ARE ALL WONDERS YOU ALL WILL AGREE.
BUT WE LOOK AT THESE MARVELS AND REMEMBER A QUEEN,
FORGETTING THE BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS
SHED BY HUMANS, WHO HAVE TOILED FOR YEARS.
NEXT TIME YOU LOOK AT THESE MARVELS
SPARE A THOUGHT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT THE BEST
