TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE
Sometimes,my sister comes over
and has a cup of tea or two
Exchange of views has been exhausted
and there is nothing left to do.
A pack of cards is then brought out,
with a few other, cards are dealt out,
A game of flush thus begins,
every one hopes that they win,
Ten paisa to the kitty is played,
and then if you like the stakes are raised.
The game is really very small,
and no one really wins at all,
for the coins they change from hand to hand
and every one is happy when ever they can,
lay their hand on a game or two.
for hours and hours we sit together.
sharing jokes and laughter to,
no one notices how quickly the time has flown,
soon my sister realizes she has to go home
a few hours spent together is over in a flash
time waits for no one it goes on its way.
just like the game of flush we had played to day
